We are proud to share that Skytrax has named Singapore Airlines the World’s Best Airline for 2026 at the Skytrax World Airline Awards. This marks the sixth time we have received Skytrax’s top airline accolade.

Singapore Airlines also received awards for Best Airline in Asia, World’s Best Economy Class, and World’s Best Economy Class Onboard Catering. Our low-cost subsidiary Scoot earned the title of Best Long Haul Low-Cost Airline for the sixth consecutive year.

We are pleased to share details of the re-launched Changi Transit Privileges programme, running until 31st March 2027. The programme rewards passengers transiting through Singapore Changi Airport.  

Eligible passengers, e.g. origination from Germany and Switzerland, can receive one 1x SGD10 voucher per transit. Passengers transiting Changi Airport in both directions, will be entitled to a total of SGD20 in Changi Vouchers. 

The Changi Transit e-Voucher can be used at all participating retail outlets located within the transit areas of Changi Airport. 

Air New Zealand and Singapore Airlines are expanding their joint route network to New Zealand for the winter 2026/27. For their customers, this means more seats, greater flexibility, and better connecting possibilities via the Singapore hub – including routes to Asia.

Christchurch becomes even more attractive: Air New Zealand is introducing additional nonstop flights from Singapore. Together with Singapore Airlines, there will be significantly more connections to the South Island during the high season.

More capacity to Auckland: Overall, the service between Singapore and New Zealand is being noticeably expanded – including more premium options on selected flights.

Singapore Airlines has chosen Starlink to provide a seamless connection from 10,000 meters up using cutting-edge, high-speed in-flight WLAN across our entire fleet. The rollout will begin in a phased approach in the first quarter of 2027, with completion expected by the end of 2029. All passengers traveling on our Airbus A350-900 long-haul and ultra-long-haul aircraft, as well as on our A380 fleet, will benefit from Starlink’s high-speed connectivity.
